Subject: Innaccurate guidance with Raven Viper

West Central Indiana
We experiencing some problems with a few of our Raven Vipers in liquid sprayers. All of these are complete aftermarket Raven systems (they did not come installed in the machines) with a Viper, 115 receiver, and RGL 600 lightbar. Some are CAN, some are serial with 660 controllers. All are installed in Terra-Gators. The trouble is with the lightbars. They will work fine for about 10 rounds, then all of a sudden will be off by about 2 foot, then 3 foot on the next pass, then 10 foot on the next, and so on. The operator can recalibrate the AB line and they will work fine for about 2 rounds, then start acting up again. We initially thought that it was one system in particular that we have had chronic problems with. However, we just found out today that we have two other machines about 20 miles away that are doing the same thing. Another location has been using the wireless remote that came with the lightbar instead of programming their guidance with the Viper and have had none of these problems. We are checking firmware on them, but I think they are all on 2.05, which I believe is the latest. Anyone out there seeing this problem and maybe found a solution?
