North Central Kansas | A Louisiana man died in Jewel Co. Ks after a fall from a deer stand. No one was around when it happened, so there
are no details except he had severe head injuries. Just be careful. Our family experienced a deer stand collapse some years ago and one of the nurses in the Wichita trauma center said, "You wouldn't believe how many deer stand accidents we treat." The way most of these things are installed just invites accidents. Stay alert and expecially be careful on the way up or down.
