Central Kansas | I tore out a 30 year old alley way and chute to install a new one. The old setup had 2 alleyways, 1 for calves and 1 for cows. They were 5 inch pipe post on 5 foot centers with 2x8's stacked solid. 30 years ago concrete must have been cheap. The post were 36 inch holes 3 foot deep and full of concrete. Then once setup the slab was pored over the top so it was a PIA to get tore out. The post were rusted off at the top of the cement. Sorry I thought to late to take before pictures. I will try to get some more and better pictures when the light is better. Any questions ask away.
