Subject: Holstein Calves

Do any of you guys know what would happend if you switched a week old holstein calf from cows milk to cheap milk replacer from tractor supply. Has anybody had any luck with that milk replacer starting out? I got a holstein a couple months ago and the first day I got him he drank real good. The second day he didn't drink much, we just forced it down him. He never would drink anything after that other then what we could force down him. The buddy I got him from said he could have been stepped on when he was born or something, but I just wondered what kind of luck people have had with cheap milk replacer. We have always used Vigortone before but my girlfriend had some from TSC so I figured that would work. What do you all think?
