perryton, tx | A local vet was on the radio this morning talking about the potential for a major blackleg outbreak for our area. Apparently several herds have already been hit and suffered a fair amount of deads. Normally, i dont give a 7-way to my calves until the fall before they go on to wheat pasture, but i plan to go ahead and do it now ASAP. I'm wondering what other preventive measures i might take and what to look for should this hit my herd. Thanks. | |
