Ontario Canada | have you ever had this happen before ? The other night I was feeding the cattle , silage and chop , they were all eating , and a few kids were running around the stable ,(supose to be putting down straw) , I heard a snapping noise , (sounded like a gun going off ) I walked down to the end of the manger , and a 1000 lb steer was standing on 3 legs and his other back leg was just dangling ,, I called a neighbor who works in a butcher shop , he came up , we shot the steer , skinned him and hung him up ,, his back leg was broken above the knee ,, I had just cleaned out the pen the day before , so at the manger it was bare cement ,, what would have caused this to happen ,, | |
