I have an old farm yard that has a couple of buildings, a well, and a few trees. Maybe six or seven acres. I would like to make hay from the grass, but if left unchecked some areas grow into giant ragweed, hemp and other big obnoxious weeds. My best guess is to spray it with 2-4D when the broadleaves start popping up. Is there any other course of action?
