Central MN | I have a 1981 986. Last fall cultivating got to end of field, idled down, lost steering and ta dropped into low side. Idled up, turned to leave for home, heard a quiet pop and tractor quit moving. No movement on low side and only could barely get to move on high side. Pulled home. Fast forward. Went to move tractor to start working on it and everything worked perfect. Changed hydraulic filter and found fiber pieces. Cleaned everything, put new filter in, topped off oil. Now I have nothing. No steering, brakes, clutch. Doesn’t move. Where is the first place to start? Hydraulic pressure first? I’m guessing fiber is from ta discs? Thanks for any help/ideas. | |
