I signed up for the Pay by Plate in Illinois.

It hasn't billed me yet for yesterday but it did for the short stretch of highway from 39 to Javon Bea.  $1.10

Getting there was fairly easy using the tollway.  88 was 70 mph from Rock Falls, however coming back it didn't take long to make a mistake with all the road work and haphazard road signs.  So I took a tour around part of Rockford and then got back on I39, it will be interesting to see what that toll amounts to.

I pay my taxes on property and income even though I think both are wrong and the tollway is the same, I don't want to have problems over a few dollars. i.e. don't poke the bear.
