| In 9 days we get the USDA stocks & acre report. This report is usually a huge market mover.
With the funds still as short as they are holding near short shorts in corn and beans, I look for some more short covering heading into that report.
I think the wall is ready to see a break through. Beans need over $12 and corn needs over $4.45.
There are many reasons why the funds should be nervous.
We are going into planting time. We have no idea how many acres we are going to get. We don’t know if we are going to raise a record crop or get hit with a drought.
I do know that a lot of the long term forecasts do suggest that it will be very hot and dry this summer. With that I think we have the chance for a major weather scare come late spring to early summer.
This would give us a lot of upside potential. You have to be prepared for that as well as the other possibilities.
