I've changed some things around and lately when I deal with Agtalk (mostly Machinery or Precision), I find the response very slow initially especially when I submit a response. If I try to open a post, it takes a long time before the post is visible. If I make a reply again it takes quite a while before it is shown. If I then go back and edit the reply for a spelling error, that action is nice and quick.

Once I use the site for a bit, it seems to get "warmed up" which I know is a silly way to put it but the interaction seems to improve.

Other sites seem to react as I'm accustomed. I realize there is much involved and this change may not be due to my equipment. My ISP raised their prices again and the service seems poorer. I don't have many choices that seem viable.

Between DISH TV and Internet, I'm paying more each month than my house payment was on my first house.

Agtalk comes and goes for me; sometimes, it is fast, and other times, it is not so good. I also get caught when they are backing up the server or something late in the evening.
I am in the Pacific time zone so I think traffic is low when I am usually on Agtolk.

The very same thing happens to me.
May be volume is too high for the server, it's a mystery.

Could be the volume, I guess although at 4:30 AM on a Sunday Morning, I would think volume would be low. I think my ISP is overloaded at times.
