| Have a family member who lost house and contents
to fire - complete loss.
Insurance Co wants itemized list of contents with values.
Where and how does one start??
I look around home and it seems mind boggling.
I think the contents were insured for like $130,ooo.
If they can't come up with a value of that,
Then the Co would only pay like 80%.
Silly Me, I just assumed it one paid the premium on
The insured amount all these years,
that's what one would receive on a loss.
Any one been thru this experience that
Could offer some advice???

Insurance Co is willing to settle on insured value of house.
It's the contents that are in question.
