Northeast Iowa | Growing up, my dad had a nice 30-30, a believe a marlin (marlin 336) but it wasn't really his. His parents sold it and it's gone forever.
He has talked fondly of it in the past. I'd like to buy him a nice one: I have one and it might be my favorite gun.
I feel like I'm looking in the wrong places to find a unique engraved marlin 30-30. I can't even find a new plain one to take to a engraver (mine isnt fit for it) our local scheels has seen 2 since Jan 1 and the price is crazy.
I'm just taking a shot in the dark, if anyone knows where to look. I have failed in searching auction sites, but I'm not familiar with the format.
Any idea on price for custom engraving on the receiver and part of barrel? Would love to see a tractor, some corn on one side, a whitetail and woods on the other.
