Subject: JD 1790 & Kinze 3600 ASD Goods & bads

NW Ohio
Thinking about switching from a drill to a 15" planter for beans only. Just starting the process of what we think we might want. We do know we would need a ground driven unit to conserve hydraulic capacity, central fill, 16/31 or 32 but would also consider 12/23.

What are the good, bad, worn things to look out for, model years to avoid, etc. on a JD 1790 and Kinze 3600 ASD.

As a background, We do some no till on beans back to bean ground and vertical till corn stalks in the fall and ideally again about 2-3 weeks ahead of planting.

Not looking for a brand war, but just some useful information to narrow our search down so we can make the best decision for our operation
