Subject: Waiting for Manure to plant corn starting to get impatient…

SC MN
So I’ve been waiting a couple weeks for the custom guy to get manure spread on a field so I can plant my organic corn he said it will be at least 1 to 2 weeks out before he can get there I look at the planting date charts and I am losing a couple percent yield potential by delaying planting what should I do?

Since this is Organic getting enough nitrogen is a challenge and Manure is my best option for that.

Would it be possible to plant now and then spread manure on top and incorporate with a row crop cultivator later? This is chicken manure in sc mn. TIA.
