Terril, IA | Has anyone attempted to run a newer John Deere N500C Series air drill with a monitor other than Deere's? I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this and its going to only work with a Deere Gen 4 or newer display but figured it was worth a shot to ask someone if its has been tried or if its possible!?
Not really wanting to buy a Gen 4 screen and pay Deere an annual subscription fee just to run section control. I think that having unlocks be an annual subscription is just plain BS! We use Ag Leader for everything else on the farm and it works great! Just assume keep it that way if I can and use the task controller to view and operate this kind of drill as we do with out current 1990 CCS drill. | |
