North Carolina | Recently installed a Dickey John ISO6 on an old 7200 12R30 planter, pulling w/ 7210R with 4600 CommandCenter display. We are only monitoring seed pop (main module) and operating chain-driven Ag Leader row clutches with the ISO6 (Tcom member module). Each time I power up the ISO6 I get a 605 error message about module 1 (main ISO6 controller) solenoid power out of range. It fluctuates from 1.3 down to 0.8 back and forth. I DON'T have hi-current power on pins 1 and 3 in my 9-pin ISO connector on the tractor hitch which is probably a big problem.
So the planter will plant just fine, but all the time. My coverage map shows the sections (ie. rows) turning off, but in reality they plant all the time so we're seeing a lot of overplant. The guy at DJ Tech Support suggested adding another member module and harness to supply more voltage to the clutches. But is this necessary? If we fix the hi-current issue on the tractor will this suffice to operate the Ag Leader chain clutches?
TIA,
Matthew
