Franklinton, LA | Azaleas are nice to have in a yard, but they need occasional pruning. Photo #1 taken 03-23-13 and shows azaleas that were set out about 1990. After blooming they were pruned with a chain saw in early April 2013. The second photo from 05-22-13 shows the plants budding out. Photo #3 shows the azaleas on 03-29-22 and the last photo was taken today. The 10 - 12' tall plants were pruned on 05-12-23 and now my driveway is 3' wider. They should come back and bloom again in March 2025.
