If grains have a few hard days down a person should buy some out of the money corn, bean, and even some out of the money wheat calls in the fall contracts. Looks like cheap insurance and will allow a guy to price crops and not worry about the upside for whatever may happen.
If/when we get a flash drop in grains options calls may be a good idea.
