Subject: S&P and banks

S&P back over 4000 this week. Bank profits going to be fat with QE for them and QT for the average Joe with another 25 basis points this week on his loans. Maybe the Fed will provide us with liquidity as well funding to cover our land mortgages to keep us going? I’m sure our land will be worth more in the future. Fed can just eat the unrealized losses now for us. They can eat it all for the banks taking them to maturity.
Don’t pay attention to the inverted yield curve either. It was just bunch of bankers loading bonds to try to force a Fed pivot and they got burned. They ignored the “higher for longer” from Powell. Just gambling with deposits.
The economy itself is strong but
Look for more regional banks being bought as they can’t compete yield wise and as they try get all banking into few big banks to get set for the new central bank digital currency. Just rant for the day.
