I'm looking to tile a bathroom floor that might need some self-leveling compound poured before installing tile. This would be poured over the top of a plywood subfloor. Can I install the tile directly to the self-leveling compound, or do I need a decoupling membrane such as the Schluter products between the tile and the leveling compound?
