Western Iowa | We just purchased a used Kinze 4900 12 row planter that has been upgraded to all Precision Planting equipment. I noticed today that this planter currently uses two push button lift switches on the parallel arms to tell the monitor if it's lifted or lowered. I have had bad luck with these switches in the past, and would like to find a better solution. My question is, has anybody done a full Precision Planting swap on a 4900 before, and what has worked well for a height sensor? I think a whisker switch mounted onto a lift cylinder should work fine, but I just wanted to see if someone else has come up with a better solution. Thanks. | |
