Subject: Steers that maybe aren’t steers?

I recently bought a few steers at auction. Appeared to have been clamped. My steers and heifers run together (feed about 40 head total)

One in this group I had noticed with penis coming out and semen spraying when one of the heifers came in heat. I caught it…felt extensively around sack and belly and found one nut and banded it.

Sack has since fallen off and thought all is good.

Today it’s penis is out and semen flowing. How could
This be? Somehow missed a nut?

Also another one today from that group doing the same thing and cannot feel any nuts.

These steers are about 750-800 pounds and do not show any nut in the sack like a bull would.

I plan to catch these two later but wondering if anyone else ever had these issues.
