Subject: Sharing Ground Rods on Fence Chargers

Splitting up some of the load and adding a second fencer. The hot fence will be separate, but is it ok to use the same ground rods on 2 fencers? I've read conflicting answers. We have 3- 8ft copper rods spaced 10 or 12 ft apart under a building eve, connected by 8 (?) gauge bare copper and clamps. A ground is a ground, is it not? Lightning is a low risk, since we have so many trees. Thought?

Thank you!
