Subject: Hog slats for cattle feeding

East Central Missouri
For you cattle guys / gals, here’s an idea if you know of anyone tearing down an old hog barn. We saved these hog slats out of a finishing barn that was being torn down that would have otherwise been crunched into the pit. This is an existing fence line feeder we’ve been using for years. It has always been a battle keeping the area where the cattle stand and eat from eroding away. There have been countless loads of rock quarry screening dumped in and hauled back out in the manure. We’ve done this on a few other feeders with good success so far.
