SC Wisconsin | Starting to move dirt for a building that will sit in front (south) of my calf hutches. I want the building far enough away that i don't put the hutches in a shadow in the winter. I can't move the hutches back (north) if I screw up and put the building too close because the road is to the north of the hutches. The building will be roughly 15' high. I'm right on the Wisconsin/Illinois border, i think roughly 42*N latitude. Does anyone know what the length of the shadow from this building would be on the shortest day of the year? I didn't pay that much attention in geometry class obviously. Thanks | |
