Subject: How is the best way to fix a leaking core in a/c service valve

North Central Alabama
I have a 580SL backhoe that is leaking out of both high and low service valves. I have had alot of trouble this year with leaking cores in a/c service valves. I also had one this weekend on my 2000 Silverado. I was able to buy and screw in a new service valve on it. But these on the backhoe are not replacable. I guess i will discharge it and try new cores? What else can you do? Can you look into the valve and see if the seat that the core seals in is bad? How do you deal with a leaking core?
