Would like some help trouble shooting an issue on a round baler. When tying the bale, all tying and ejection functions must be done in the manual mode. The auto tying function does not work. We have checked the electrical connections, that connect the baler to the tractor. Don't know if that is where the problem is. It could be in the monitor mounted in the tractor cab or the electrical box mounted on the baler inside the left door. Lots of possibilities, including the electrical wiring harness. No damage to wiring harness that we can see. The electrical connection, connecting baler to tractor does not have a mechanism keeping the connection positively tight. It appears tight when checked after running in the field. At times the baler functions as it should using the auto tying feature, then it will not function requiring the operator to go to the manual mode. Maybe the baler has a faulty electrical solenoid that controls part of the self contained hydraulic system. Any help is appreciated.
