Brown county MN | So I stumbled upon a nifty trick I thought I'd share.
Our baler is a JD 435, and the belts use the solid steel cammed pins. And in changing some prior to baling an idea struck me.
These little buggers can be frustrating, especially if they're busted, but cranking a drill chuck on them and slowly spinning as you gently pull slips them out with ease. Literally 15 seconds to pull this intact one out. And if they're busted, getting the end chunks out drastically helps with binding while driving them out.
Haven't seen this method done and thought maybe someone would find this useful.
