Will be weaning 500+ lb calves soon. Rain tonight, tomorrow night and Thursday night, it is already wet. Will be doing fence line weaning. Pond water, some shade trees, green grass. I know I will hate what the cows and calves will do the grass near the fence if it rains during the first few days of weaning.

Which is more likely to make calves sick rain during the first few days of weaning or highs in the 90s?

Right now I am thinking that we will wean on Friday so should have a couple of days before it gets hot.
