King City, Mo | A few weeks ago I posted about a
First calf heifer that we had been feeding and going to butcher.
We sent her to the butcher and got the strips, filets and ribeyes and rest to hamburger.
We are Going to sell the burger but kept the steaks for us as the youngest and oldest and I love steak and the middle and wide enjoy it to but not near as excited about it.
Last night we tried 3 ribeye and 3 Strips.
Pulled them outta the freezer mid morning and let them thaw. Put salt and pepper on them
And some Chicago steak house seasoning.

Hit them on high on the grill for about 5min a side then turned it down low to finish.
I forgot to get pics last night but everyone loved the steak. The little one and oldest both said as good as or better then Texas road house.
My oldest who feeds the butcher beef every day with the little 1025r has been eyeing the steaks for months.
Tonight we had left overs for an early supper before the oldest kid pitch baseball game. Him and the youngest split what was left of the steak.
