I recently purchased a Roland MP-60 impact printer, that prints on metal and produces identification and pictures.  I plan to use it in my part-time identification business, which includes stencils, rubber stamps, custom identification buttons, metal embossing, and now impact printing.

The mp-60 has been discontinued by Roland, and finally the price has declined to a point that I can work with it.  As I have been practicing with it, I note the software that comes with the machine is lacking a lot of features, and I wondered if anybody else has found some interesting programs to enhance it, or perhaps have written some of their own shape formats and such.

If you have any hints to help me get started faster, I would enjoy hearing them.
