Macon, IL | I posted a couple weeks ago about running 1080 PTO on 540 tractor, got to looking and realized maybe if I just switch to a Hydraulic Drive pump it would work fine on either.
Would a 55hp Massey 255 have enough GPM hydraulic pump to run a 45ft sprayer without putting too much strain on the tractors pump? I know the "Auxilary" pump-as MF calls it-is 10GPM, but not sure if those are designed to run constant or if that would harm it?
