Subject: Tractor wheel width question ?

I going to set tobacco with a Holland 2 row rotary tobacco setter pull type. I going to use a MF 275 tractor, it has spinout rear wheels, so moving the rear wheels out to a wider spacing is no problem. But the front tie rods are frozen tight in those tubes, I hate to buy new tie rods to move the front axle out wider. I just going to set a few acres, and the front wheels are 4 or 5 inches off from wheel the setter row run. Will the front tire pack the edge of the row to much, and does the wheel spacing need to be set like you would set it if you were going to cultivate with that tractor. If I set the wheels right I can use a 2 row cultivator behind that tractor too. Thanks for the response and an opinions.
