Subject: What to get for in home wireless network?

I am thinking about setting up a wireless network in my home. The problem is, I am ignorant when it comes to what I need and what is the best way. I have 2 laptops, 2 printers, 1 flatbed scanner and possibly 1 desktop. Both laptops have USB ports and infrared. Both printers have USB ports and 1 of them has standard printer cable. I have a Firewire PCMIA card. I also have bluetooth compatable cell phones. I want to be able to communicate between all of the above. Money is limited, but I want to do it right the first time. Should I try and setup Bluetooth, firewire etc, etc, etc. Please give me you opnions and ideas, but keep it simple so I can understand. Thanks, Gene
PS I have dial-up for Internet access.
