| Posted on here awhile back about our polaris atv acting funny. Some suggested that it was the ECM(electronic control module). Told my wife about the situation and she uncovered a recall card we had received from Polaris that stated the ECM was a fire risk and that the atv should be brought to the dealer. The card states: "This repair will be performed at no charge to you". Go to the dealer today to pick up the ATV with a bill for $374. Dealer states that polaris won't honor the recall because it has expired, and therefore I have to pay for the repair! Talked to two different folks at polaris corporate who confirmed there was nothing they were going to do, and that it was my fault for not bringing the atv in sooner. Our dealer was nice about everything, but the polaris corporate folk were nasty and rude. I don't think I have ever experienced customer service that was so poor. Sorry for the rant, I am just shocked that Polaris won't honor their own recall. | |
