After spending a week in and around Houston we finally got home last night.

 He placed 21st with his sheep in the second class medium light weight of 97 head. The top 22 sell so he did make the sale. He was the next to last kid to walk across the auction stage and sold for $10.000! Now if he could only keep all that!! Nope, he only gets a $1000 of it. The rest gets distributed for scholarships.

On Wednesday our county agents pickup got stolen out of the motel parking lot. In broad daylight!! 2 Of us saw it leaving but could not see who was driving. We did not know it was being stolen then. Did not figure out until 9 pm that it was missing.  Had Texas exempt plates and large stickers on the side with Gaines Co Extension.

Good thing was that it had over 100.000 miles on it and had been giving a lot of trouble.  Bad thing it had a nearly brand new generator in the back. Possibly the reason it got stolen.

It has been a long week!!
