Little River, TX | Fools rush in.
Planted some alfalfa October 8, and some more October 17. Previously the latest I ever planted alfalfa was October 5. Well I am hoping that my latest in the germination date of November 5 will work and all will be coming up alfalfa. No rain in the forecast, now, for the next 10 days two weeks!
September 2006 I planted in September and germination was also in September. Had a nice covering of seedlings. Trouble was the only rain we received during the next month plus was the rain that encouraged the alfalfa to germinate.
It is true. Do not go into farming unless you can take a joke.
