Subject: When to harvest corn

At what moisture should I start harvesting my corn? The fields I am worried about hold water so I was told to start on them when they hit 25 if the weather is cooperating. If it gets too late and we get a lot of rain I won't be able to get on the fields. I just checked the fields today and the front fields are 26 and the back fields 28. The front got hit by the frost a couple days ago while the back fields are surrounded by woods (21 acre field) and were not hit as hard. I will be using a John Deere 3300 with 2 row head so it will take a little while to harvest the 32 acres. Should I follow the advice of the neighboring farmer who I trust and knows my ground and equipment or do you think harvesting at 25 would be a mistake?
