| Hi all. Hopefully I will finish our main harvest soon. When I do, I'd like to take some time and dig a few root pits.(that is the proper term is it not?) What are some of the usual tools you take with you other than the obvious like shovel, camera, and water bottle? Do you take any other meters or chemicals with you for other experiments while there? Like ph at various depths?
What would be some other measurments you might take while the pit is open?
I ask because it will be a pita to do this, but I think still worthwhile. I dont want to fill the pit back in and then ask why I did'nt think of taking a certain measurment or something.
