Subject: Spraying out alfalfa

Camrose, Alberta
Neighbor will cut his alfalfa hay in the couple days. I plan on letting it regrow and then spraying it out. Based on previous posts on the forum I plan to use 1.0 L/ac (34 oz/ac) of Transorb HC and 0.125 L/ac (4.25 oz/ac) of Banvel II (dicamba).

How much regrowth do I need before I spray?

An earlier post said dicamba was about $55/US gallon, I was quoted $147/US gallon for Banvel II ($382/10 liter jug). Is the cheap stuff a generic brand?

Dicamba doesn't seem to be very popular up here, I called three places and they don't stock any, had to get it ordered in.
