Subject: Green algae in stock tank

Nebraska Panhandle
I've got a 22 foot stocktank with 50 head of cows and calves drinking out of it. It keeps getting green algae in it and on some warm days looks like it is not good to drink. It gets fresh water pumped into it each day, but the algae is getting worse. What can I put in this tank to get rid of it? Would adding some Clorox do the trick? I don't want to use something that would poison the cattle. Thanks in advance.
