| Went to Chicago last Thursday, central SD down 281 to I-90 then over to Albert Lea south thru Waterloo-Cedar Rapids over to SW corner of Chicago. Things were very wet, stormy again, tractors were setting in different areas wanting to plant. Came home today came across I-80 to Omaha then up I-29. The Des Moines area was a mess, rivers and creeks out of their banks, fields had washouts cut into them. What wasn't flooded was yellow from being so wet all the way up south of Sioux Falls. I feel sorry for every one of you affected by this one. Never seen where so much water affected this whole area really. | |
