Subject: ? on using stream bars in corn

Prairie Home MO
We have some corn in the bottom that I'm sure has lost some if not a bunch on N. Our sprayer is on 20 in. centers and don't want to reconfigure boom with drops for only one field. Corn will be canopied by the time it dries up. Have any of you used stream bars in corn. Also what about turning them lengthways to put even more N on a smaller surface. In wheat I see no burn, but don't have a whorl to run into either. Wanting to apply 50 to 60 lbs. of 32%. Does anyone have any experience using these. Might not have to worry about it. MO river on the rise. Thanks Robert
