IL
Thinking of trying some Pacer N foliar nitrogen on corn when we apply the RUP. It is suppose to be 24%N(6% of the N is slowly available water soluble the other 18% is urea) it also is 1% K20, .6% sulfur, and .25% boron. The cost is 8$ a gallon and you can apply 1-3 gallons an acre. Is this stuff worth trying? I am sure we have lost some N with all of the rain we have received here in IL and would like to maybe try some of this stuff unless it is snake oil.:) They say 1 pound of foliar applied N is equal to 5 pounds of soil applied N. Is that true? Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!
