Boyd, WI | I've got some goofy looking beads on old corn stubble. There's about a hundred of these in say about 20 square inches of corn trash. On the stalks, leaf matter etc. They are hard and dark brown to black in color. Sized from a little smaller than poppyseed to as big as alfalfa seed. Inside when split (it's hard to split them) is white and dense. They are attached to the trash pretty well. What do I have? I'll try to attch some pictures. This is 5th year no till, corn/soy rotation. Anything to be concerned with?
