SW Iowa, Clarinda | Recently bought an aluminum Eby Wrangler trailer from an insurance company with minor damage. I got the trailer fixed but it didn't come with the Adjustable roller gate at the front of the trailer. The rails and holes are in the trailer but not a gate assembly or anything besides the rails and holes. The original owner kept the gate for whatever reason (sore subject).
I priced a new gate assembly from EBY and it was $1500 without shipping....ouch.. I'm trying to find a gate for a more reasonable price. I've searched google for salvage, but everywhere they want to sell the whole trailer to me for salvage.
If anybody knows where I might find a used one, I sure would be interested.
I do have a pretty good alum welder, so I've been thinking of trying to make my own, but Eby's design looks superior and well thought out.
