Subject: What shall I do?

Suver, Oregon
I made a deal with a local part time farmer that has not turned out well. He approached me last spring and wanted to trade some chicken manure for all of my straw. (He has a manure spreading buisness, and a straw baling buisness.)

We came to an agreement, and he hauled off all of my straw after harvest. Well, when it came time to spread the manure he was on vacation and his crew did a lousy job of spreading. The spreader was covering 15', and the driver was running on 30' centers. He finished the fields he was suposed to cover, had material left over, so he went ahead and placed it on a field that was not on the spread list.

Now I have 160 acres that has strips of manure running thru it. He has no more manure to spread, and the tracks have faded enough that it would be almost impossible to split them now.

I'm ticked. Now what?

Any ideas?

Thanks.
