southern Illinois | Our 18 year old son has been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I was wondering if anyone would have anything that has helped with this in their lives or know a friend that has found something that would help. He is currently taking pentasa and canasa 4 times a day and has now for over two months with no good results. They want him to take it now for another two months. We asked about diet and was told that didn't matter from the doctor who is suppose to be the best in this field in our area. There must be something that could give some relief.
We have done internet searches but only find people wanting to sell something, nothing of any real value.
