| The better half is stove shopping. After reading the good posts below we have a few added ??? We have always had electric and have always had burners go bad. Here is Mrs. Jack. I haven't been wild about getting a smooth top because of being warned the pans have to be smooth on the bottom with no warping and they are no good for canning which I do alot of. sister who has an expensive smooth top who cans and after 5 years had a burner go bad , just had it replaced to a tune of $164. I am wondering if I shoud be leaning towards gas, we could easily be hooked up for it, what"s the downside of gas? TIA | |
